Looking for Alaska Cover Redesign
I decided to redesign John Green's novel, Looking for Alaska, because it was one of my favorite reads in high school. For this redesign I really wanted to emphasize the motifs that are in the book, such as the labyrinth, Miles obsession with famous peoples last words, measures of distance and white daisies. All of my redesigns centered around making a labyrinth out of the famous peoples last words that Miles mentioned in the book. I played around with different fonts, colors, and layouts but ultimately chose my yellow cover design as the final since it emphasized the colors of white daisies and innocence.
