After Effects
All of these animations were created in After Effects for my Motion Graphic course at the University of Connecticut. I learned a lot in this course and have implemented video and animation in my internships and many of my school, as well as personal, projects.
This brief was called Word to Word Experiment where we had to change a word into another word. I chose the words "stare" and "blink". I used the audio of channels changing on an old television. With each change of the channel I switched out one letter at a time to blink onto the screen and create a new word. I also animated the words to look like neon signs.
For this project we needed to create an advertisement for a stamp. I chose the "Signal Lights" Colombian Stamp. In my research the stamp was about traffic lights so I used that as inspiration for my animation and included a lot of flashing lights. I also based the rhythm of my animation on a cumbia audio, which is a traditional style of dance and music in Colombia.
This is a simple box folding animation perfect for social platforms.
